This is a comeback of sorts! We have neglected this blog, largely due to pregnancy and first-time parenthood keeping us out of interesting restaurants and mainly in chains/same old/takeout. This should be the first of more (though more sparse) posts to come.

This is a very low key, casual place, with a good selection of ingredients and friendly service. They only have the lamb for dinner (at time of this meal), but at lunch they still have chicken, pork, beef and some seafood. The vegetables are the usual suspects - fresh broccoli, zucchini, carrots, onions, snap peas, scallions etc, as well as some canned items like corn, water chestnuts.

The sauce selection was also pretty good, with a few suggested combinations. I found that for a full bowl I needed more sauce than their combinations suggested, and they still had to add plenty of water on the grill to steam everything thoroughly. One thing I'd like to see - raw eggs, I've really enjoyed a stir fried egg added to my dish in the past at other similar restaurants.

Kiddo enjoyed mostly fruity puffs, but the (non spicy) plate also had quite a bit to offer - bits of veggies that are stir-fried relatively soft, thin slices of meat and of course noodles. My toddler never refuses any form of pasta. Overall this is a solid family friendly spot for a quick meal. Nothing fancy, not much of a view, but pretty solid food and they're accommodating of families and small children.
